PSP vs DS
December 12, 2004 the PSP was retailed first in japan, November 21, 2004 the DS was also first retailed in japan. They both now have a newer generation out, for the PSP it is the PSP 3000, and for the DS it is the new light versions. The PSP 3000 was recently released by Sony. The new features it has is a better LCD screen, and a built in microphone. The DS light was released in 2006 to improve screen brightness, also it added 2 hours on to it's battery life. A new PSP 3000 is about $160, without anything else. I would recommend getting it with a pack instead, because it has all the stuff that you would need down the road for cheaper. It's coast is $200. The coast for a new DS light is $130. The battery life of the DS is 10 hours, and the battery life for the PSP is 6-8 hours. The coast of new games for the PSP is $40, but old platinum games are $20. this is compared to the DS new games are $30-$35, and older new games are $15. Both the PSP and DS are wifi compatible, but the DS is limited to only playing games online. The PSP on the other hand can play online games also, and has a power full built in browser.
I own both the PSP 3000 and the DS light. I found that they both are useful, but if i had to pick my favorite i would hands down choose the PSP 3000. The reason is the games it can play are much more advance, and life like. Also i find that having an Internet browser comes in handy. Also i can access the PlayStation network to find fun games i can download to my memory card. Those are the reasons why i think the PSP is better than the DS.
Have a different opinion place a reply and i will make sure to get back to you.
